7th Gen ('06-'07): Engine light problem
Good day. I have a 07. I believe this is one of the cars 50 made. It has 113k miles my engine obo keeps telling me a have a problem that's fixed. I went to the dealer. But the I still have the problem. I had to replace sensors (2) . I don't know what else to do. I should get rid it. I only drive in my city. If you all can help me. Thanks.
We need some diagnostic info to be of any kind of help here.
-what are the symptoms you're experiencing?
-take the car to an auto parts store and have the engine codes read (since the light is on). We don't need any details from their free report, but we do need the code numbers.
Lastly, are you able to do any wrenching yourself? Not to be rude, but it sounds like you don't have much experience working on cars - so there is a strong possibility that this still ends up at a mechanic (not the dealer since its out of warranty) to get resolved. But if youre willing to buy the tools and learn, we're certainly willing to help (as best we can not being able to actually see the car).
