Default Electrical Help Quick if Possible

So.. 05 ss/sc

Started 5-6 times no problem today. Then the last time I tried to start it, it seemed like it turned once then felt like the battery just lost all power and quit turning.. Lights were dim and gauges jumping. Hooked it up with jumper cables and seemed like it had full power, still wouldnt turn. Get maybe 1/4 turn then loses power again. Tried leaving cables hooked up for a while, same results.

I tried to jump it with 2 different cars and 2 different jumper cables.

Negative side of the battery was really lose but apparently started no problem for who knows how long now.

What do you think? Did I kill the battery beyond recharging? Ignition cylindar?
gear select switch something or another?

Cars sitting at a gas station and id like to try to fix it before I gotta pay someone else..

Im desperate here. What can I check and what can I do?

Thanks a lot..

Also, fuel pump relay was buzzing really loud.. If that says anything.

Mine would have some of them same issues like the relays making noises and hard starting when the battery gets to low on power. Gauges would bounce around and such . Mine is a battery with a dead cell it will take a charge but as soon as it starts the battery is down to 10 volts .Good luck wht02monte

It turned out simply to be the battery.. I ruined it having the neg side so loose for however long it was..

I just didnt understand why attempting to jump it (with short, thick cables) gave it NO power whatsoever..

Anyway, I am happy it is what it is..
