Hey friends, I'm looking at a possible conversion to an electric fan setup
w/ aluminum radiator for my monte.

The problem I have is this : The stock radiator is held in place by the large
plastic shroud that bolts to the area just behind the hood latch.

So when converting to the electric fans and shroud they come with how is the
upper portion of the radiator held in place ?

Are custom brackets required or is a kit available for this.

Any help would be awesome.... Thanks

 

On my monte I had some fabrication done, guys made a custom shroud for dual fans and bracket area. I don't know of any kits available just did some custom work. Will post pic tom

 

I would want a bolt on or custom made that I can do myself. I want to be able to do it with out taking it to any shop. Currently the only item on my ride that was farmed out was the installation of the B&M torque converter. The rest of the car was done in my driveway including all the body work and paint. Thanks for your feedback.
