Hi `Chris,
The only thing I know about suspensions is what I've learned on the net.
I would suggest that you take it to a shop that gives free estimates
on shocks/springs, & they should be able to tell you what you have,
and what you need.
If their price is right, I would have the experts do it, and if you think
you can gets the parts, & tools to do it to save money, then that's what I would do.
But, you have to remember, Space does some crazy things.
