I have an '04 with the dual zone climate control and every now and then the driver side motor that controls the blend door will stop working, if I take off the kick panel and tap on it, most times it starts working again. Does anyone know how hard and/or expensive it would be to replace?

 

Mine went bad a couple of months ago, the part was about $60.00 from Chevy. I had them install it. Total was $300.00 with the part.

 

how hard would it be to do it yourself?

 

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I really can't tell you. My stealership told me that the dash had to come apart. I doubt that. See if you can get a service manual.
