I recently purchased an 02 monte ss and I've discovered that the driver's side door doesn't turn the stereo off or show the door ajar light when it's opened. The passenger side works fine. Anyone else had this problem or know what I should look into? I don't see a normal door switch anywhere on the door jamb. Thanks!

hmmmmm.... but your interior lights work, correct? idk, perhaps a fuse is bad?

 

I have been having the same issue. Can anyone explain how the switch works? Is it just metal contact with latch? There is very little information available for this issue.
