Hey guys.
was just getting the beast ready for summer.
all systems are go....
or so I thought.

my DD is an 05 LT with dual zone climate control.
after troubleshooting and researching I've diagnosed my issue as a failing/malfunctionung blend door actuator on my drivers side.

It seems as though it operates about 3/4 of full travel length but my driver side AC is still slightly warm.
so before I buy any parts I'd like make sure there's no jam or something else.

I've looked everywhere for a diagram or picture of the drivers side but it seems I can only find the passenger side.
even on the forum i can only find passenger side.

Can on you guys help me out? I've removed most of the lower dash.
can I access it Without Removing the cluster?
at this point anything would help.

And yes I've see the post where the entire hvac is removed but I don't want to go that far.

You don't need to remove the cluster, but it's a tough one to get to. You have to lay on your back upside down in the driver seat to get to it. It's basically behind the ignition switch, just a little below and toward the passenger side. Thought I had a problem with mine, but when tested found no vacuum. Turned out to be a hole in the small (5/32") plastic vacuum line in the engine compartment that runs along the top of the firewall, over the top and down the front of the passenger side strut tower, then behind the battery before it goes into a wire loom near the power steering pump. You might want to check that vacuum line first, it's a whole lot easier. Also you might just be low on refrigerant. This is also a symptom.

I have already checked refrigerant levels and inspected system for leaks.
my passenger side is ice cold but the drivers side is still slightly warm. This is why I believe it to be the blend door for my side of the car.
I will check that vaccum lin tonight though

I checked vaccum hose for drivers side. I Couldn't see any visible issues there but Thanka for the tip
I also looked for the blend door again
I can't see a thing and what I can see I don't know what I'm even looking at.

DOES ANYONE have a diagram of the drivers side HVAC?
