Default AC Question

Now that the hot weather has arrived, I've discovered a problem with my air conditioning.

It's a 2003 3.4 litre, btw. What's happening is that the driver's side of the dual zone temp control isn't blowing very cold. The passenger side blows ice cold, but the driver's side...well, not so much.

Both levers are all the way down, of course. Anyone else experience this and have a solution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...this coming week's gonna be a scorcher

This would most likely be the drivers side temperature actuator, but could also be the HVAC control module. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies, guys

I did a little research and found this is commonly low refrigerant easily fixed with a top up....but it also means there's a leak somewhere in the system.

I think I'll go the easy route and do a top up and see what happens...
