what's up with everyone having the same issue with that??? And yes my monte does it too but like everyone else I just readjust the handle and it works lol

I dont keep the car on when i fill when its cold out i just sit in the car till the pump stops its warmer this way

Just be careful with what you grab afterwards - the static electricity you make getting in and out, if you touch anything metal on the pump or the nozzle you can ignite it. They have rubber on the handles for that very reason, but not on the trigger (mythbusters did something on this, and then when people catch it on fire, panic and pull it out the fire grows like 10x as big).

I find it to be a bigger PITA to have to crawl around the hose, etc to get in and out, plus it lets all the cold air in the car.

Gas station rules are there for a reason but apparently must only apply to some people *note the sarcasm*. I always see people getting back in the car, especially in the winter. I also see quite a bit of the "start pumping gas and go inside the store" thing, leaving the pump "unattended". I also saw a guy smoking next to the pump recently (first time I've ever seen that actually). At that point, you're on your own if you catch on fire.
