My 07 Monte has been acting up after a light collision with a deer a few weeks back. The engine is staying in 8 cylinder mode, not deactivating like it should. Anybody ever have the same issue or Know how to resolve this problem ?

 

Honestly for as much trouble as Displacement on Demand causes in the long run this is probably a good thing. I tuned mine out a long time ago...but off the top of my head I cant think of anything I have heard of that could be disconnected that would turn it off.

 

other than losing a couple mpg, you are better off without that dod.........just saying

 

Yep tuned mine out too.... You won't miss it at all
