6th Gen ('00-'05): Cuts out going up hill
#12
Sorry that I have been away so long, but, I FOUND THE CULPRIT!!! Her Pace Car runs really good now.
The clean acceleration that I saw was most likely because the wires were new, a few days after the wire change, it was cutting out again.
Ultimately, cutting out under load was the IGNITION CONTROL MODULE! No kidding! It was hard to find because it doesn't pop a code. However, a GTP friend of mine said if I am getting random misfire codes, it has to be that module. Coil packs either work or they don't.
Now I just need to replace the differential to eliminate that annoying chatter/pulsation/whatever you want to call it, when I put ANY left input into the steering wheel.
