Default cut out or downpipe first?

hi i plan on doing both mods here real soon. gonna get either a hogan dp or one from zzp and a cutout from dmh. my question is if i cant afford to install both at the same time. what should i get installed first or does it not matter. also a07 monte as far as cutout is 2.5 or 3"? thanks as always guys!

Dp first so the cutout is only welded in once.

If its stock exhaust its not 2.5" I'm not sure the size. Honestly a cutout way back there is useless.

i havent seen any of the ls4 guys run the cutout on the dp. they usually put it before the y pipe. the cutout should be 2.5" i believe the factory exhaust is 2.5 and then reduces at the y to 2.25 or even 2". i believe that catless downpipe gives the ls4 cars a far better boost in performance over the cutout.

ty and yes every ls4 i saw with a cutout was at the rear tire before the y. thanks for all the input. i want the cutout more for sound than hp but i think i may just get both.
