Hi guys I have a 2002 monte carlo v6 3400. Just recently I have been having this trouble. Bought the car couple months back. The cruise light will randomly turn on when i turn on my car. Then after i drive around a little it shuts off. Then when i try and turn on my heat at first it doesn't turn on until i mess around with the heat controls. Like turn it from heat to cool it will kick on.

So if you can tell me what might be wrong that would be great. I've been reading might be ignition switch or BCM problem.

 

Mine did the same exact thing. It was my ignition switch. They aren't too bad to replace.
