I have a 1997 MC LS. Up until two days ago it was the best car I ever owned. I went out to start it up to take fiance to work and all the lights came on, I turn the key and it just spins on the starter motor. It had a service light on and when I checked it, it came back as an EGR valve code and a misfire. I removed it and cleaned it out and put it back on. For the misfire I replaced the spark plugs and wires, still said I had a misfire. So I replaced coil packs, still nothing. Finally thinking maybe it just wasn't getting enough fuel I replaced fuel filter and the fuse relay for the fuel pump. Now when it cranks it asks like it want's to start and occasionally it will fire up but will not stay started... Please any help on this would be amazing as we need this car to get us back and forth to work and friends can't keep driving us every where...lol
