I replaced the coolant temp sensor on my 04 SS and had what I thought was very little coolant loss. I drove the car and the temp got very hot so I added some coolant which really lowered the running temp but was wondering if you are suppose to bleed air out of line and how you do so? There should be a bleed screw on the thermostat housing

 

I am not sure where the bleed screw(s) are on the 3800 engine but here is where they are on the 3400 engine......
