what are some general problems that come with the 05 monte carlos? my cars at 77k and the fan is sounding like its about to break. is that common?

 

Need more information, there's 3 different types of motors that you could have, and we need to know what these sounds are

 

my driver seat wont tilt anymore. it only goes forward and backward. anyone know what needs fixed?

 

you need to replace the bottom of the drivers seat the motor tends to breake with out warning be glad it is not at a acward position is it? if not dont worry tell you get a price on the seat bottom it should be around 170 to 200 im not sure

 

Take the chance to put in new seats from a newer MC.

 

what i found out is the bracetry is the same for 2000 and 2007 models. if it was me which i want leather seats from the same year i would go to a junk yard for the best looking seats and replace the bottom of the drivers seat just to make sure the motors work to make it tilt rase up and down and all of that.

 

my o5 3.4 has 78,000ish on her. orginal owner.to date (knock on wood) water pump at 66,000 and just did the head gasket 2 days ago.
