Check engine light came on today

Default Check engine light came on today
When I started the 04 up to leave work today the check engine light came on.

Is there any way to obtain the trouble code without a reader?

Thanks!

Go to your local autozone or advanced auto (etc) and ask them to read the code for you

Lol i have tried that! It never seems to work. I have even asked it in French bc it was made in the big C...
