Default Catalytic COnverter change

Greetings,

So I have decided to change out my old sh*tty catalytic converter. This is something I would like to do myself without welding. Is this possible (ie: bolt on)

Also, I wonder what kind/brand of cat I should get (please note that I am in Canada)

Also, is there any other mod I should be performing while I am under the car that would be easier with the cat off.

I have rebuilt engines and transmissions galore but I have never done any exhaust work aside from brushing the rust off of an old 350 manifold so any help is appreciated.

Much thanks!

why not just go with a ZZP Catted Downpipe? 2.5", you'll see a nice gain there!

Now, I've been trying to find it on their website. I cannot see it. Could you please point me in the right direction?

WOW. I mean, I didn't expect it to be cheap but $270.08USD before taxes (because I am in Canada and cannot return the cat as well as the shipping costs of over $85 for the budget shipping). If only I lived south of the boarder I would save some bucks.

I don't want to sound cheap here but is there a Canadian distributor who offers this sort of stuff?

Might want to hit these guys up.
:: Overkill Motorsports ::
They are in Canada AND I noticed this on their site:
We are authorized ZZPerformance distributors
Here's info about my install of a ZZP downpipe and high flow cat:

Just have a new cat welded in and the u bend replaced while you're at it. The stock downpipe isn't any more restrictive then the manifolds going into it.

Not Intense, OverKill. OverKill claims they distribute for ZZP.
