I have a Monte Carlo 2000 SS 3.8 and I have a question about my remote, when I push the button to lock and unlock the doors the horn will beep. I know that when It locks it's suppose to beep but not when I am unlocking the door it also beeps...Could it be that I need to replace the battery on he remote or could it be something else wrong ?

 

Check the options menu found in your factory radio. I believe you can configure the horn beeps or turn them off entirely.

Your car manual will tell you how to open the menu, but if you don't have it I can get the info from mine.
