Default Monte 4X4 wood home-made engine support

TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!! THIS IS WOOD AND NOT STEEL, IRON, ETC.

For about $30 you too can make a home-made engine support for trans R&R or oil pan gasket replacement. About $30 at Lowes gets you 2 heavy duty chains, grade 8 bolts, nuts and washers and a treated 4X4 post (I think it was 10 or 12 foot.) You hook the chains up to the front and back engine support hooks as tight as the chain can get around the 4X4 wood. The wood closest to the windshield lays across the strut towers and the other piece of wood lays across the 2 brace bars(??) that connect to the core support. This setup was very solid and once you get the subframe out of the way, nothing moves!!
