Car hesitant at low rpm's while driving.
Hey everyone, I'm having a little issue with the Monte. No surprise. A week or so ago, I had my car on jacks waiting for new coolant elbows from zzp; their aluminum one's to cut out the trouble of possibly replacing them for the 3rd time. It turned out a simple 30min job, turned into several hours, since the broken plastic piece slipped into the LIM. So yeah, went through that routine. I'm not sure if anything through that process may have caused this issue. To get to the point, after a few days of driving, my car shows it's hesitant or bogging when it's kicked into O/D in the low 1500 rpm's. Only at that rpm though. I believe the torque converter is going too, since a tap of the gas in O/D kicks it out and it takes it a certain constant speed for it to kick back in. Back to the bogging. Possibly clogged fuel lines? The car is catted with straight pipes back, so I not only notice the feeling, I can surely hear it. Any ideas?
Keep in mind, I've changed the spark plugs and wires about 15k miles ago. The battery should be fine as well. Although when I did take off the alternator, it wouldn't spin as much. I had just bought a rebuilt s/c alternator about 15k miles ago for the extra amps towards my audio.
Thanks.

I probably should've done that in the process of putting the throttle body back on the manifold, as well as checking if the throttle body needed cleaning. Thanks alot pal! I'll get back to you on that if this solves my problem.
your vehicle doesnt have a timing belt it has a chain. gm has a tech service bulletin for these transmissions. you may be having torque converter solenoid problem where it wont release from lock up. meaning, that it wants to stay in the highest gear or switch to the highest gear and not disengage. this is caused by trash in the system, normally, and plugging up the solenoid. to replace this is at least a 6 hour job, and requires you to go into the transmission. you may also find the trash is coming from the tranny itself, which may mean overhaul. to check this, remove the trans pan and inspect for debris settled in the botom of it. if you see little black pieces, these are pieces of you clutches (what makes your car shift) and they are falling apart. if you believe the stalling is not transmission related, you can try changing the fuel filter.
