sometimes when i start up my monte, it sits at real real low idle, like around half an rpm, and wen i come to a stop sign the lights dim and it almost just chokes out.. WHY

 

u only have to post sumtin once...as for your question its really hard to explain y ur car would stall. it could b low fuel pressure which would b caused by a multitude of issues such as a plugged fuel filter, bad fuel pump, vacuum leak...so its hard to diagnose from here

 

i would definatel start with your fuel system. but just check your air filter to just to make sure.
