Default Car Chugging

Hi all,

2004 MC SS/SC Intimidator with 133K on it. I have been experiencing a chugging issue of sorts - happens when slowly/normal accelerating and the supercharger gauge hit the half way mark (0 mark with -10 and +10 being the range on the gauge). Its not super noticeable at that juncture; basically as if it were cutting out slightly. When it's most noticeable is when accelerating more heavily, as if getting onto a highway. At 4K rpm, it starts bucking as if it were going to kill. It doesn't die but I have to let off the gas.

The MAFS was replaced about a month ago.

Thoughts on the culprit? Thanks!

Maybe just some injector cleaner would help. Todays fuel can really be an issue. Try some Lucas oil brand cleaner it has worked for me.

Thanks for the advice Driver. I run Lucas about once a month - Im hoping it's not a fuel issue. I don't feel like it is.

I'm curious if the catalytic is starting to clog, and preventing the exhaust from escaping.

my friend had an issue like this on his 02 Silverado,it got so bad the truck would barely move

he cut the cat off and dumped it out and sure enough that's what it was,it was filled with crap,id try that first, and just inspect/clean all the connectors on the coilsand maybe replace your plugs and wires if theyre old
