Unhappy Car break in broken ignition

someone broke in my car. this idiot had no idea that breaking down my ignition will not get u to the wires to hijack my car. i drive a 2000 monte carlo and i got it not too long ago i really wanna fix it up but this is a serious hold up. my ignition plastic piece infront of my ignition switch is gone the black cover surrounding it is gone and my ignition is all inside of the dash so i usually gotta push it in and move it around to get my keys to a position to turn it on. i need a new ignition and i wanna know if anyone knows a good price for the issue because i dont want nobody to steal my baby u still need a key to start it and from adjusting it for long periods of time im for sure that its not gonna do my wiring anygood.
any help please???
