i have a 2003 monte carlo ss. the problem im having is the a/c wont shut off.
as soon as you turn the fan on. the a/c kicks in.
the switch assmbly is all knew.
any thoughts on what the problem could be?
all fuses an relays are good. new battery terminals.
im at a loss as to what to do

 

Is it the A/C turning on, or the compressor turning on?

Are you using a setting with defrost? Does the compressor shut off when you switch it to only lower vent settings?

 

the compressor stays on no matter what you switch it to..
