Default buttons

ok the buttons on my steering wheel are starting to fad or what ever the black part is rubbing off what is the best fix

replace or paint are about the only choices you have for those.

the good news is they are easy to get out after you get to them

The bad news is they suck trying to get to them LOL

you have to take the colum and the dash apart to get to them and still you only get about1/2 " to work with them, they are cliped in and go threw the front but they clip in to that plastic part on the wheel and it is fastend with screwes under your air bag. SO make sure you disconnect the bat. and take out the fuse or at least disconnect the bat. (all i did when i put the LED's in mine)

But after your bottom part of the colom is out there are two revers torx screwes in there that hold the top of the colum cover in place and they are not fun to get at.

black sharpie. dot it, don't make lines to give a non streak finish. worked pretty good for me, but i had very minor wear.

i guess its worth the try ill have to take before and after pics for this one lol should be interesting
