Default Bringing my '03 back to life, I hope..........

Ive got an '03 LS that has been parked for nearly two years. I have been periodically starting and driving the car around the neighborhood to keep the fluids moving but there's a problem I hope can be fixed or the whole revival will be scrapped.

The car was parked with 198,000 miles on it and with the transmission not wanting to shift out of first gear for a while, on cold starts. It eventually would but it took a few blocks and start/stops before it would. It did this at 100,000k miles and I changed the fluid and filter. That solved the problem then and I'm hoping it will fix it this time.

I will be using the Dexron VI fluid and I'm thinking about adding a quart of Trans X conditioning fluid again, as I did the first time.

I have read a ton of info here about the problem and I hope to share a success story here with you guys, in the very near future. I'll probably be doing the fluid/filter change this Friday.

Wish me luck.
