brake lights not working.....
#11
yes sir, i have tried to wiggle the lever, and the lights do not com on at all, thats y i was trying to clarify. evrything on the lever works i.e. wipers, turnsignals, etc. im stumped on where i go from here. im pretty confident its either the TSS or the multifunction lever but cant identify which one it is. any ideas????? thanks again I will try fuse #30 and #5 when i go home for lunch. and the TSS is the round switch under the steering wheel not the multifunction lever? the terminology is confusing me sorry, but thanks again.

ok, i checked fuses #30, #5, and #23. All were good. blinkers work fine. turn signals work, brakes lights do not do anything when i hold them down and jiggle the multifunction lever. im goin to take a stab at it and try and change the TSS (round shaped switch under steering wheel), i will see if theres anything obviously wrong (broken wire, melted wires, loose contacts, etc). anybody have any other ideas before i dig into this would b greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

I would check that your brake switch is still connected and or working. This is an old Thread that was related to Blinkers. Not sure how the Multi Function switch would help with a Brake light problem
Also If the Brake switch is still good I would check the wiring from the passenger side, THere should be a white wire that is taking the brake light back to the trunk area.
