Brake light started coming on a week ago. Replaced all for rotors and pads. Old pads had 1/4 pad still left. Drove car 4 miles and brake light came back on! When I pressed the parking brake pedal I get the chimes while the brake light is on so I dont believe the switch there is bad. Any ideas?

 

parking brake isn't releasing all the way? lift the back of the car with the parking brake off and see if the wheels are dragging or catching.

 

Check your brake fluid level and top it off if it is low.
