console removel for repair of aux power
03 Monte SS, need to remove the console to fix aux power outlet,fuse ok

2 screws under the rubber mat in the center cubby hole, and 2 or 3 in the console under the rubber mat, also. Apply the parking brake, turn the key to on, drop the shifter to low, and pull up the console. You can access it from there. To remove it, there is a clip in the shifter handle, I believe, but you shouldn't have to do that to get to the wiring.
