I have a 2006 Monte Carlo SS. I think there is a parasitic drain because the battery kept dying then no longer held a charged. So replaced it and now the radio says locked and the windows do not work and no crank no start. Had another key made by a legit locksmith and replaced the ignition switch. still no crank no start, radio still locked and windows still don't work. Before I replace the BCM is there a reset procedure? And does it matter which part number? because if I look up a bcm by vehicle it's not the same as the part number on the one currently in the car.
