From what i know about the BCM, which i learned here in the last week, it does a lot more than control the chime. Everything from the lights to the abs to the trac control, cruise control.........etc........

The BCM is configured with the options of the vehicle it is installed in and then a theft deterrent system learn is performed. There is no reflash procedure to correct any malfunctions.

I did pull mine down to get a better look at it. Not much to it, just a 4"x4" board in a plastic case. I wasn't really sure how those connectors came off though, but didn't spend much time trying to get it unplugged either.

sometimes they sometimes they dont when i use the turn signal sometimes it will cause all the warning lights to come on it is like someone turned off the key. also sometimes it will not turn over until you turn the key about 10 times.
