Default B2648 - Related to Ambient Light Sensor

Hello everyone!

Just bought my sweet 03 Monte SS High Sport. Everything on it is excellent except 2 things. (one of which is the guy put the wrong damn rotors on the front, which will be fixed this weekend)

The SVS light is on, NOT the check engine light (I've seen a bit of confusion between the two on here). So, I took it up to a dealer and had the code read, let me quote my paper work here.....

"B2648 DTC found in BCM. Related to Ambient Light Sensor Circut."

My question is: Are there any guides out there as to changing the Sensor out in the most efficient way possible? I realize I might have to tear into my dash... but how far? Hopefully I'll only need to take out my radio?

Any of you who have had previous experience doing this, your knowledge would be most helpful!

Thank you

The sensor is in the front of the dash. Gently pop up the trim piece closest to the front of the dash. It will be a tiny thing that looks like a bubble.
