Your welcome. Anytime you need help with your 5th Gen, just post it up and if i can find the answer in the book. then i will post it.
Now mind you, there are somethings that the book doesn't have, so i would not be able to help like i did right now, but i am sure that others can help. I know that Bumpin is great when it comes the 5th Gens.

I recently swapped alternators on my '98 3.1. It wasn't a difficult job, just a few problems I ran into.
1st, along the steel brake lines that run next to the alternator there is a plastic clip that holds both in place that is a major PITA to get off. I recomend using a skinny flathead screw driver to hold it back.
2nd, getting the nuts off the bolts from the brackets on the right side that are under the steel brake lines. You will need either a very versitle wrench or small and nimble hands. Other then that, it wasn't too hard to do. Hope that helped some.
