Hi,my name is Kevin and I am new to the Monte Carlo forum,I just bought a 1997 Monte ls with a 3.1 and the Anti Lock light is lit all the time and I checked the brakes and rotors and fluid and everything is o.k. Any ideas?Oh I also checked the ABS relay in the fusebox under the hood.I also belong to Chevy Truck World.Thanks for any input. Kevin

 

check the fuse by the pass door... if not its probably a bad ABS wheel sensor. common prob with our cars.

 

Thanks.I think I figured out its the right rear hub assembly is bad.Its humming kinda bad.I ordered that and it comes with a new sensor.Hopefully that is it. Thanks again Kevin

 

I replaced the right rear hub assembly with the new sensor on it and the light went out and it is a lot quieter ride now. Thanks for the help. Kevin
