Default Another coolant leak thread…Please Help

What’s up guys and gals. I haven’t been on in a while; I’ve been riding my R6 mostly everyday and trying to let the Monte rest. Well, it seems she didn’t like this too much because today she threw up coolant 1 mile from my house. I got a big plum of white smoke for under the hood at a stop-light l but luckily I was able to make it home (temps didn’t get too high).

I think I found the problem but not too sure as I thought the plastic coolant elbows were on the UIM only; does the lower also have one? I just can't remember. I'll have to find my chiltons.

Please see pics below.

They both go into the lower intake manifold. The purple O-ring elbow fits the elbow in the first picture, with the purple O-ring side going into the LIM. Put some vaseline on the ends of the elbows before installing. It makes them a lot easier to put in.
