AC Blows Cold on Pass Side Only (Not bd actuator)
Yet another issue has arisen.
As the title states, only the passenger side blows cold air. Freon levels are fine. I replaced the driver side blend door actuator (pain in the a**) and I'm 99% sure I calibrated it correctly, but no dice. I really need this fixed soon, this awful NC humidity is hot!!

Did you replace your actuator too? I turned the key to on and played around with the driver side and I could hear the actuator spinning so I know that's working. I have no idea what the issue could be.

I would let a proper shop diagnose the system pressure, usually they will do it for free/cheap.

Warm air from Driver side
Hi,
Just wondering if the freon or actuator turned out to be the culpret. My 2006 Monte has the exact same problem. I've already replaced the actuators on the pasenger side. I don't want to tackle the driver side unless I really need to. I heard it can be bear.
Thanks,

if the car is blowing cold air out one side and not the other, then its not a Freon issue. if Freon was the problem it wouldn't run the compressor and you wouldn't have cold air out either side. the actuator motor on the driver side is a bit more of a pain than the passenger side but its not brain surgery either. just use some 1/4 inch drive extensions and maybe a 5.5mm swivel socket makes it much less difficult.
