Default ABS Harness Part Numbers

Does anyone know the difference between part numbers 970-040 and 970-041?

The Service Traction light comes on when it rains. I'm getting the same groaning noise that others have discussed. The codes say it is the right rear wheel sensor (C1235, C1228, C1224, C1216). I checked the wire and plug, but I can't see any issues.

My plan is to replace the wire in hopes it is not the hub.

It looks like the 041 is a replacement for OE #10340313 and 040 replaces #10340314 or #10340316.

You have a short in the (RR) speed sensor input circuit and excessive speed variation in the (RR) sensor. Replace the RR hub assembly.

Got it. Thanks for saving me the time of replacing the harness.

Smile 10340314

I found this wheel speed harness (10340314) on gmpartsplanet.com for $79.40. It arrived super fast in the GM packaging and solved my issue.
