I have a 03 Monte Carlo SS and currently having ABS/Trac Control issues. I am getting code C1218 which I understand is is the EBCM (ABS computer or module)? This sounds like it is fairly common issue. What I am looking for any thoughts on the code and whether or not I should change out the module. If so, can someone please give me detailed instructions on how to remove the module. Also, are there any thoughts on places such as Module Master that repair modules. I'm not excited about spending $1000. Thanks for any input.
