...Bonjour `Christophe,
How is life in France ? Below is some information that may help, but check back on your thread problem & hopefully one of our expert tech member's can assist and give you a answer to your problem. Do you have a place that can scan for codes ? I hope we have a member that can assist. Good Luck.

The ABS light comes on when a malfunction in the ABS is monitored.It could be any number of things that it monitored.There are codes stored in the ABS to be retrieved by a technician to isolate the issue to a specific circuit or component.While the light is on the system is in bypass,meaning you have normal capability.(no pulsing of the brakes)When you press the pedal YOU STOP

my car had the abs light on, the first place to start is to check all the fuses to make sure thay are good... there is at least 1 in the block on the dashbord near the passanger side door, and check in the fuse block that is above the battery / washer tank under the hood.... the fuse block lid should say which fuse it is.

as for the door lock, do you mean it does not lock when you hit the lock / unlock button? i have never heard of a 5th gen that locks automaticly, although i know some cars do that now..... eather way, check the door lock fuse while you are checking the ABS fuse.....

for the door:
when i lock in manual position inside or whith the key exterior it is ok .
THE DOOR IS LOCKED MANUALLY;

but the right door automatiquely is lock when i turn the key to start the enginne .
i think i must change a part electrical

i see on the catalog auto from rockauto (because in France you can not have parts for the montecarlo ,it is The Exeption Vehicle Car)the pieces i think i need but i m not shure .

And information for Kid space FROM FRANCE AFTER I WILL POST PHOTOS OF DIFFERENT VIEWS IN FRANCE

a man come and crash the front bumper and my Car is now in reparation to a body exterior reparator garage... IT IS NOT IMPORTANT BUT I HAVE JUST A C4 TO WORK
C4 IS A CITROEN
YOU DON T HAVE THIS MODELE IN USA .

The doors in our cars are not supposed to lock when you turn on the car. The only way they lock is if you press the lock button inside, manually lock them with the switch by the door handle or with the key on the outside, or if you press the lock button on the remote.

The first thing I would do about the ABS light is check the brake fluid level. If the level is low, it will turn on the ABS light. It sounds stupid but alot of people forget to check the fluid level.
