My 99 Z-34 has died on me a couple of times on the road at highway speed. After I pull over and stop, it starts right away and has no subsequent problems. I have had no trouble with this car before, other than I suspect the trans to be getting weak. Does anyone have an idea? I get no warning or check engine lights. I'm suspecting the fuel pump, maybe.

 

it could be anything from your sparkplug wires, sparkplugs, fuel filter, fuel pump, or your alternator not keeping your battery juiced up enough to run the load.

I recently had an issue similar to yours and it ended up being the fuel filter.
