Default 97 Monte Carlo Z-34 Keyless Entry? Didn't they all have it??

Just had another thought, didn't all of these Monte Carlos have Keyless entry? Mine had no remotes when I bought it. Any way to tell what type of remote would be correct for it? Or maybe the bigger question, any way to tell if the system still works? Maybe it failed and the previous owner chucked the remotes or something.... Just wondered if anyone knew anything about them.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Guysnydr,
I had the same question about my 95 MC Z34, I went to a dealer and asked if I can know if my car came with Keyless entry, the parts guy ran my VIN and verified that it did come with it and that in order to check of it still worked it would cost $80-100, plus another $65-75 for the remotes, and he could not tell me how muchto program the remote, heestimated about another $100 to programtheremote. I just went with a topof theline Viper alarm system, does everything keyless would do and then some, including protecting your baby from getting stolen. Isuggest for you to get an alarm system installed.
