I have a 96 monte carlo stock witha 3.1 L can anyone tell me how many RPM's you should be turning at 60 mph with stock tires and stock gears......... also what does anyones transmission shift at through every gear...(stock info please)

 

that is something with to many varibels on it. none of those cars are still "stock"
but is your sppedo not woirking on it and this is why your asking?
If this is the case that is a easy fix just replace the speedo cabel on it they are easy to fix.
they break off easily on those cars due to the plastic end on them and it will also strip out easy to. If for some chance the tranny gear is striped then that is a easy fix also take the one you have out and take it in to the parts store and get a new one they are cheap but you need the number off the one in the car so that you get the right one as they are all geared and color coded diffrently.
