Hello and TIA. 2006 LTZ 3.9. 5 years no issues. Last two weeks car has died 4 times at idle (parked 5 minutes) and not started while sitting twice. Battery 2 years old and tested good (12,3 static). Alternator 14.5 output.
Car dies and then will not crank or get power to the Starter. I can hear some relays clicking but not the starter relay. sits two hours +/- and then just starts up like nothing was wrong. Had towed to the garage once but nothing was found. I was leaning towards the VATS system but I don't think that would or can shut down the engine while running. Also not getting any security lights. Has anyone experienced anything like this? or at least a direction I can start checking out. Thanks
