anyone swap to big block in 73 -77 MC. I'm trying to find the correct engine frame stand and motor mounts that will allow proper clearance for headers.
Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post im a newbie here and trying to get it right. please direct me to the right place if i'm wrong. thanks in advance for the help.

 

ive never swapped to a big block, but considering that they came with them it shouldnt be to hard to find what you need. motor mounts should be available through parts stores, or restoration suppliers like original parts group. im also pretty sure if you cant find monte carlo specific parts that all the chevelle, malibu, and el camino stuff will also work.

 

Thanks TheMonteMan for the response. I've been leaning towards trying the 70-71 camaro frame stands and mounts for clearance. What do you think about those working.
