Default 6th gen foglight switch issue?

i literally just got a 02 monte ss today. i was checking over the lights, and tried to turn on the fog lights. my question is, does the fogliht button stick in when on? or is it a push on push off deal? mine just pushes in and comes right back out. and i cant get my fog lights to work. so i honestly dont know if just the swtich is bad due to it just popping out and not locking in like most other button/switches do. thanks in advance

IIRC it is just a push in and out thing, it doesn't really stick in there. Have you checked fuses or wiring or the bulbs themselves yet?

yes, this too. if the light doesn't come on I would check the fuse, if it does come on then I would check to make sure the bulbs are in good condition, I have seen fogs on GM cars both go bad all the time
