6th gen brakelines

Default 6th gen brakelines

i recently got a 2000 ss only thing wrong with it is several leaking brake line was going to run new from abs on just havibg a problem with the right front mainly has anyone replaced or rerouted this line just wondering about running it back along the fire wall also i dont have to find replacement line with the flex section in them do i ?

Are you just buying straight brake lines with the fittings already on from NAPA or such. Then you bend them as you need? I bet you could successfully run a line along the upper firewall as long as you keep it away from the down pipe. Sometimes you just do what you have to do to keep on getting down the road.

got them done replaced every brake line only used one compression fitting i know they aren't meant for brakes but just need to get it to a shop let them replace that section now onto getting it cleaned up and some tires then it'll be on the road

Good man, nice to see you win that battle, sounds like it should hold, hell you did it with what you had to work with and now you back on the road...
