Dunno if the monte's are different, but my 00 and 03 impala 3800 NA's were both ~105 stock. Never really looked at a tune for a monte 3800 though...

its gear limited to 135 with 3.29's, do not let it shift into 4th/overdrive, bad for the tranny... why do u need to go that fast anyway??

i did a little math and I figured if these cars roll 80MPH at 3000RPM in overdrive couldn't it do around 160MPH at 6000RPM (redline) if you allowed it to go into overdrive? why's it bad to let it shift to overdrive at these speeds? once again, just curious. going faster than 85MPH makes me panic like a little old lady afraid of rain. thanx
