3.5 with a loss of power (what ive done so far)
So ive been having troubles with my 3.5 lately. Seems like a loss of power when i go to accelerate it almost seems to not even budge. The RPM's stay in place untill i let go of the gas and then re-apply gas.
The problem happens rarely but still persists. So far i have changed my spark plugs and wires, and replaced the MAF. I have checked my fluids and they all seem to be ok for a car with 100k miles...
The ONLY thing that seems to have helped reduce the problem but not completely get rid of it was the custom fab air box that i have made for my intake.
I dont know, the cars not overheating and theres no service engine lights on. My mechanic has looked at it and my buddy has plugged it into a code reader, the mechanic says he didnt notice anything wrong and there were no error codes.

If you know someone with the exact same car as you, you can start both cars and feel the end of the exhaust for the pressure and see if it's a change.
May have to get the cat backpressure tested though.
