2007 LT 3.5 brake light problems

Check on your metal rod connected to your brake pedal...
Your switch should be connected to it & sometimes they do get lose, & sometimes fail... When you press your brake pedal it should make contact with the switch to light up your brake lights...

I'm not certain, but if the side brake lights come on, I'm guessing the the 3rd brake light is powered off the same circuit. You may wanna first check if you are even getting power at the 3rd brake light connector. If so, then the 3rd brake light itself died.
